Warwickshire School Transfer Support Service

Part of the Family Information Service Team the School Transfer Coordinator provides independent advice to parents on engaging with the admissions system.  

Starting school can be one of the most difficult and stressful times for families and their children. The purpose of the School Transfer Coordinator is to help and support those parents who may struggle with the admissions system, enabling them to make informed choices on their childs education.

Support can be offered through group sessions in schools or locations in the community, as one to one meetings with families and through home visits.

We cannot make decisions or guarantee a place at a particular school, but can offer help, support and impartial advice based on the information available to help parents and carers make informed decisions.
