Welcome to the Warwickshire Children and Young People's Workforce (WARCHYP) November newsletter. This month we say goodbye to the current editor in our News section and feature a Christmas party with a twist in Events alongside our usual calendar listings.

Lynne Mackaness, Deputy Director of the Warwickshire Association of Youth Clubs (WAYC) who set up WARCHYP website and newsletteris retiring. Anyone who would like to say goodbye is welcome at WAYC AGM on November 9th, Jubilee House at 5.30pm.
Esther Avery, a volunteer at WAYC, has taken over the running of the WARCHYP website. Esther and Lynne have been working closely to make some changes to the website and newsletter and Esther is looking forward to making more over the coming months:
'I really enjoy editing websites and newsletters and I hope that the changes will make both the site and this newsletter more user-friendly and informative. We plan to use more images and hope that people will start to send more 'good news' stories for us to feature.'

Strictly Come Christmas - Charity Dinner, Dance and Auction
Not yet organised your Christmas Party? Why not raise money for a good local cause and enjoy yourself at the same time?
The Coventry Carers Centre are hosting 'Strictly Come Christmas' at the Aston Court Hotel, Coventry, on Thursday 17 December at 7.30pm.
The night will include a three course meal, disco and an auction all for £20 per head or £140 for a table of eight and all profits made will help Young Carers in Coventry.
