The Sikh Community Centre
The Sikh Community Centre is a well-known, established and recognised means of communication for service providers and members of the Sikh Community. There are close links with Warwick District Council, Benefit Agency, Voluntary and Statutory organisations, who have successfully used the Centre as a means of receiving information from the Community, as well as disseminating information.
The Sikh Community Centre provides a drop in service where the community can come in and ask for advice on general matters, immigration, interpreting, form filling. Casework on Racial Equality, domestic violence, harassment and any other area highlighted by the community will be dealt with.
Warwickshire Welfare Rights Advice Service are based at the Centre on Wednesdays and provide members of the community with advice on benefit related matters, with the services of an interpreter where necessary.
The Sikh Community Centre has several good-sized rooms which can be booked for meetings.
