Positively Safe

The National Council of Voluntary Child Care Organisations (NCVCCO) have produced a guide to developing safeguarding practices, called Positively Safe.

It covers: Getting the balance right between safeguarding and stifling; Including young children in the process; recruitment, supervision and training; code of conduct; Child protection; whistleblowing and complaints; equal opportunities and working towards a safeguarding policy statement.

It is straightforward and nicely presented.
